CACOSH Projects
The Chicago Area Committee on Occupational Safety and Health has been involved in a variety of projects designed to outreach to the population of workers, to train workers in Health and Safety concepts, and to help address specific concerns brought by members, organizations, or individual workers.
Two major projects undertaken by CACOSH are the Workers' Compensation Project, developed to increase workers and unions understanding of the proper way to proceed when injured on the job, and the Vulnerable Workers Project, an outreach program to bring Health and Safety resources to underserved populations of workers.
